Roundtrip at Gvepseborg
Bring your cross-country skis with Krossobanen cable car and take the 8km round trip in the borderzone of Hardangervidda! Krossobanen, Northern Europe's first cable car, brings you and your skis up to the starting point at Gvepseborg 883 metres above sea level. From here follow signs with "Rundløype Gvepseborg". Please note that this circular trail is not prepared, just marked.

Ryes vei – The retreat
Ryes vei was used by the Norwegian saboteurs to escape after blowing up the heavy water factory during the second world war. Therefore Ryes vei is also called “The Retreat”.
