Founded in 2003, Norseman Xtreme Triathlon is widely recognized as the world’s most demanding full-distance triathlon. The race starts with a jump from a ferry into the Hardangerfjord and finishes atop Mount Gausta, covering 226 kilometers through the raw and unpredictable Norwegian landscape.

You are welcome to join in cheering on the athletes – here are our recommended spectator spots:

     T2 in Austbygde (Sandviken Camping)

This is where the athletes transition from the bike leg and start the final running stage.

25 km mark near Dale – the start of "Zombie Hill"

This is where the notorious climb towards Gaustatoppen begins.

Bygget at Gausta – white t-shirt finish line

Gaustatoppen – black t-shirt finish line

You can also cheer from along the roadside, provided you keep a safe distance and do not obstruct the athletes or traffic. Cars must be parked with all four wheels off the road.
