Getting around in Rjukan & Tinn
Tinn is a large municipality with varied landscapes and several villages, which means distances can be greater than you might expect. Having your own car makes it easy to explore the area at your own pace, but it is also possible to get around without one.
There are bus connections between Rjukan and the surrounding villages, as well as seasonal buses between Rjukan and Gausta. In Rjukan town centre, distances are short, making it easy to walk between shops, places to eat and accommodation.

Motorhome parking
The motorhome parking is located at Såheimsveien 3 in Rjukan, and there is space for 14 cars. Electricity, waste disposal and cold water are available, for 200 NOK per night.
